4. Payment Terms and Conditions

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all fees must be paid in advance of the applicable class, tutoring session, or program. Fees, package pricing, taxes, administrative charges, and any special terms will be disclosed at the time of registration, invoice issuance, or service enrollment.

  • Currency: All payments are due in Canadian dollars unless otherwise specified.
  • Taxes: Applicable federal and provincial taxes, including GST/HST or other applicable taxes, will be added where required by law.
  • Payment Methods: We may accept payment by debit, credit card, electronic transfer, or other methods we make available from time to time.
  • Late or Failed Payments: If a payment fails, is reversed, or remains outstanding, we may suspend or cancel access to services until the balance is paid in full.
  • Promotions: Discounts, coupons, and promotional offers are subject to availability, eligibility requirements, and any specific conditions communicated at the time of offer.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to refuse or cancel any registration where pricing was mistakenly displayed, subject to applicable law.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Our cancellation and refund rules may vary depending on the type of service purchased, the timing of notice, and whether materials or administrative work have already been provided. Unless a different policy is stated in writing for a specific program, the following terms apply:

  • Student Cancellations: Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to the contact address listed below.
  • Private Tutoring: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session may be non-refundable and may be charged in full, unless required otherwise by applicable law or agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Group Classes and Workshops: Fees for missed classes or workshops are generally non-refundable. Transfers or rescheduling may be offered at our discretion, subject to availability.
  • Course Packages: Refunds for multi-session packages, if available, may be prorated based on sessions attended, administrative costs, materials provided, and any discounts applied.
  • Corporate Training: Corporate engagements are subject to the written agreement, statement of work, or invoice terms applicable to that engagement.

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be issued using the original payment method within a reasonable period after approval. We may deduct non-recoverable costs, completed service amounts, and administrative fees to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation in British Columbia or Canada. If mandatory law provides you with a right to cancel or receive a refund, those rights will prevail.
